We recently completed a custom home build with Brett on Table Rock Lake and could not be happier with the overall process and end result! We were admittedly nervous about the build process in general given the somewhat remote location and unique terrain of our lot, combined with the fact we live six hours away and would not be able to visit frequently.
Brett made it look easy! Our project was completed in ~10 months which is fast especially given the location. Several of our neighbors commented on how efficient Brett is compared to other builders in the area. It’s clear that the subs have respect for Brett which contributed to the efficient process.
The quality of our home is fantastic. Brett made suggestions along the way that were budget friendly without compromising quality or the overall design characteristics of our home.
Brett was a pleasure to work with - he has a great personality, easy-going demeanor and communicates well. “Selecting a builder when creating your dream home definitely requires a skilled professional and we selected Brett because we saw his success year after year receiving "Builder of the Year" awards from 417 Homes. But after going through the process, I would tell anyone you have to be able to talk with your builder freely. You need to know he will listen and act on any concerns or issues you have. There is no way you will build a home without running into something along the way and most likely several somethings. If you are not comfortable discussing issues and expecting resolutions you are going to have a very frustrating and disappointing experience, Our home is a dream, we cannot believe we get to live out our lives in this unbelievable place. Brett showed patience as we went through three designs to land on this one, He placed our home on the "knob" as he called it to capture a breathtaking view, He held off siding the home as we dealt with some HOA issues. I could go on and on expressing what a joy he was to work with, truly. You will not find a more honest builder who will do all in his power to make your home your happy place. He even walked the peak of our roof when we couldn't get a widow's walk and took photos for us!”

“I Am in My Forever Home Now”
I built a house with Brett in 2016. I have subsequently done an addition to that house in 2021 with Brett. Both of these projects have turned out beautifully and there was minimal stress. I built another custom home before I worked with Bret and this was a much better experience. He has been there from start to finish and has helped with other things after the build. Although I am in my forever home now, I would not hesitate to use him again in the future is ever needed.
