    Our process begins with a Discovery Call. We want to get to know you and your project. We will define an initial budget and discuss rough timelines, laying the groundwork for a smooth and successful custom home building journey.

  • Our goal is to simplify and streamline a sometimes complex process saving you time and money. We want to assist you in making informed decisions from the very beginning. We’ll take the time to understand your vision and direct you towards informed inspiration.

    Dependent on your project’s needs, we can handle design in house or we can bring in our design partners to help develop your project’s design documents.

  • If you are already developing your project’s design documents or you prefer to work with your own design team, we offer Pre-Construction consulting services aimed at delivering a successful construction project.

    Our pre-construction services lay the groundwork for a successful build. We will provide valuable insight into constructability, costs, structural design, utility planning, energy performance, and value engineering—while protecting architectural and design integrity—with the goal of maximizing your investment.

  • What we are building will be around for a long time and we want to be part of building a greener future. We utilize many different methods to minimize our impact on our neighbors and planet.

  • Even though building codes have made recent improvements to address the importance of energy efficiency, many new and existing homes are in need of some upgrades. A simple upgrade to your window package or choosing spray foam insulation can have a major impact on the utility requirements of your home.

    Discovery

    Where are you in your projects journey?

    The first step in any of our projects is a Discovery Call. After we have discussed where your project stands and the services BBB can provide, we want to get to know you, your lifestyle, your budget and schedule parameters, and your must haves for your new home.

    If you are looking for a location to build your dream home we would love to help you find the right spot. Our in house realtor can also assist with your buying and selling needs.

    Concept

    If you don’t quite know what you want your new custom home to look like, you are in the Conceptual Design Phase.

    Here, we are trying to bring together abstract initial ideas, inspirations, and wants so that we can start to bring form to your project. We will explore initial floor plans, elevations, styles, and functional requirements, all while ensuring alignment with your budget and schedule goals.

    We want to avoid the difficulties some projects face early in their life cycle by organizing informed inspiration before we engage our design partners so that we can design accurately from the start.

    Schematic Design

    After we have developed a clear intent for your project we will coordinate with the necessary architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape designers, etc. to develop your project’s initial design documents.

    We contract directly with our design partners, saving you money and serving as your single point of contact so you only have to worry about signing one contract for your new custom home.

    Our goal for this phase is to finalize your homes footprint and define how we are going to utilize your building site so that we may complete our permit submission.

    Design Development

    While we are waiting on your project to clear permitting we are busy developing and finalizing your home’s aesthetics, inside and out.

    We will start the interior design process by exploring materials, fixtures, equipment, colors, features, and designing cabinet layouts for your dream home.

    Architecturally we are making adjustments to the floor plan and developing your exterior elevations.

    Along with aesthetics we will coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans for your project along with any necessary engineering.

    Pre-Construction

    Hourly fee

    In the Pre-Construction Phase our goal is to compile as much information as possible before starting construction.

    Our intent is to reduce opportunities for change to your projects budget and schedule. We want to get any last minute selections and pricing completed so we can create an accurate construction cost proposal and schedule.

    After developing a clear plan for construction our construction managers take over and acquire all the necessary building materials and sub-contractors to bring your dream home to life.
